The Coca-Cola Scholars Program Scholarship - Posted August 21, 2024
The Coca-Cola Scholars Program scholarship is an achievement-based scholarship awarded to students in their final year of high school. Students are recognized for their capacity to lead and serve, as well as their commitment to making a significant impact on their schools and communities. With the 36th class in 2024, the Foundation has provided over 6,900 Coca-Cola Scholars with more than $84 million in educational support. 150 Coca-Cola Scholars are selected each year to receive this $20,000 scholarship.
The deadline to apply is 5pm ET on September 30, 2024.

Wharton County Junior College Endowed Scholarship Program - Posted October 8, 2024
The Wharton County Junior College Endowed Scholarship Program is for graduating seniors attending WCJC.
Requirements
Must have a current admissions application on file at WCJC.
Completely answer all questions on the application. Incomplete scholarship applications will be given secondary consideration.
Submit all documents required. If you have difficulty attaching your transcript(s), please email finaid@wcjc.edu for assistance.
Students in dual credit programs for 2025-2026 are not eligible for an award.
Primary consideration will be given to students who have submitted a 2025-2026 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA®) to WCJC.

Terry Traditional Scholarship - Posted October 8, 2024
The Terry Traditional Scholarship, or Freshman Scholarship, is a full ride, last dollar scholarship that covers up to eight semesters. It is awarded to Texas high school seniors who have been accepted for admission to one of the Terry-affiliated public universities in Texas.
*For The University of Texas at Austin, the student will go to the LASSO website, log in, and complete the Scholarship Interest Form to be considered. On the LASSO site, you can also search for Terry Foundation Scholarship for more information.

Wharton County Czech Heritage Society Scholarship - Posted November 4, 2024
The Wharton County Czech Heritage Society of Wharton County is offering a scholarship to three graduating seniors of a Wharton County High School who intend to continue their education beyond high school at a four year or two year college or vocational technical school.

Cody Thompson Memorial Scholarship - Posted November 6, 2024
REQUIREMENTS:
1. Graduating Senior from the following counties in Texas: Austin, Colorado, Fayette, Lavaca and Wharton who will further their education through a technical school, certification program or college or university.
2. Complete online application.
3. Submit one Letter of Reference with application.
4. Submit High School and/or College transcripts with application.
Due 2nd Friday in March. The link will be closed at midnight on March 14, 2025.

The Hagan Scholarship Foundation - Posted November 6, 2024
The Hagan Scholarship is a nationwide need-based merit scholarship, providing recipients “regardless of nationality” with the opportunity to achieve their goals and graduate college debt-free. The scholarship provides up to $7,500 each semester for up to 8 consecutive semesters. Applicants must graduate from a high school located in the United States.
The Submittal Deadline is December 1, 2024.

Texas Leadership Scholars Program - Posted November 8, 2024
The Texas Leadership Scholars (TLS) program will prepare students for life after graduation, whether their next step is a professional career or graduate school. Because only 250 students are selected to become Texas Leadership Scholars each year, encourage your TEXAS Grant-eligible, high achieving students to apply for the Texas Leadership Scholars program.
Scholars are eligible to receive funding through this renewable scholarship for up to 4 years/8 long semesters, if they continue to meet program criteria and requirements.
The institution will ensure 100%* of board-designated tuition and fees are covered through a combination of federal, state, and institutional aid.
For *tuition and fees, total aid amount is capped by need as determined in the FAFSA or TASFA.
The Coordinating Board will provide a Housing & Food scholarship* equal to the average cost at the participating institution.
Housing & Food scholarship* is provided regardless if living on or off campus, this amount is capped at cost of attendance.
The Coordinating Board will fund summer programming opportunities.
Only undergraduate courses are covered, and they must be taken in the fall or spring.
