Welcome to first grade! I am so excited to have your child in our class this year! First grade is such an important and fun filled year! I can not wait for you to see all of the growth and progress your child will be making as the year goes on!

A little bit about me!

I graduated from The University of Mississippi with a Bachelors of Social Work. I then got my Masters of Social Work from Louisiana State University. I worked in Houston and New York City in high end retail sales for 11 years before making a career change to teaching! This is my 9th year to teach! I taught 5th/6th grade Social Studies in Brazosport ISD for 1 year. I taught in Fort Bend ISD for 5 years teaching 4th grade math/science, first grade and kindergarten! The last 2 years I have taught In Needville ISD in kindergarten. Now being here in East Bernard is a dream come true!

I have been married to my amazing husband, Michael, for 8 years. We have a beautiful, wonderful 3 year old son, Wilson! We have 2 crazy dogs, Chief and Lucy. I have 3 stepsons that are big guys! Jacob is 24, he went to University of Houston, majored in Electrical Engineering and is now married and lives in Colorado! Aaron is 22, went to The University of Mississippi for undergraduate in Business and Chemistry and is now in dental school at the University of Louisville! And Caleb is 19 and a sophomore at the University of Texas at Austin double majoring in computer science and electrical engineering!
