I was born and raised in México until the age of 20. Moving to Texas upon marriage, I have been living in this state for 30 years. During those years, I obtained a high school diploma and Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary studies (Elementary and Middle School Education).

I am a generalist teacher (EC-4) with Bilingual, ESL, GT and secondary Spanish certificates.

I was an elementary teacher for 5 years at Brazos Elementary at the beginning of my teaching career, and for the last 13 years I have been teaching Spanish 1 and 2 at Lamar CISD; I am excited to be part of the EBHS Brahma family teaching Spanish 2 and 3.

As a proud first-generation immigrant, I am honored to serve our East Bernard community as an educator at East Bernard HS, ensuring to always lead by example.
