Tyna Vacek's Science Class
BIO
Howdy! I grew up as a small town girl from Riviera, TX. I am a '93 graduate of Texas A&M University - WHOOP! I attended a masters program in nutrition and dietetics at Texas Woman's University of Houston.
My husband, Rudy, is a native of East Bernard. We have 3 children. Brent graduated from Texas A&M and is now doing his second year of vet school at Ross University. Zachary recently graduated TAMU with an engineering degree and has joined the work-world. He is engaged to another native, Cheslee Karasek and will be married soon. My youngest, Rylee, has about a year left at TAMU in Ag Journalism and Communications. All Aggies!
I have taught a variety of subjects at Columbus ISD and Lamar ISD, but my love has always been with science. This will be my 17th year of teaching and my 7th year as part of the Brahma family! I can't wait to get to know & help your kids grow.
